Quobi

Perfect head-shots and a large kill streak, in a game, are something worth bragging about, but you would need proof, otherwise it didn't happen. If you want to show off your skills at a game or review it, Quobi will help you acquire the necessary screenshots, recordings and more. The idea behind Quobi is not something new, but the software itself offers better controls, a well designed user interface and a series of features which make it more flexible than other game recording applications.

Quobi is not free, but you can test an unregistered version, which has a few limitations. Its setup package is small and you may install the necessary files in a few second. The setup wizard will also install an additional codec, if you want to.

Besides traditional PC games, the application also works with Flash games and console games. Furthermore, it is capable of benchmarking the frame rate, CPU and memory usage. Recordings, screenshots and benchmark results are displayed on separate tabs, on the main interface. You may also access other tabs, if you want to upload your recordings to YouTube and to switch between PC, console and Flash mode.

If you want to record your gameplay, take screenshots and so on, you just need to select the appropriate mode and launch the game. The application's logo will appear on the screen and you can use different hotkeys to start or stop recording, benchmarking and take single, sequential or collage screenshots. While recording, you will see the elapsed time, as well as the video's size on the hard drive, next to Quobi's logo.

The software comes with its own image viewer, video player and even a screenshot and a video editor. This means that you can make various adjustments and add a series of filters, with the same application. Quobi provides Play, View and Edit options for individual recordings and screenshots. Additionally, you will find an Upload option for each video. Clicking this option will queue a recording, so you can upload multiple videos in a single run.
